Tropical hard wood is a consortium of down and dead wood millers in southern Costa Rica providing raw native tropical hard wood for the domestic building and furniture manufacture market.  Based in the Osa Peninsula, we secure down and dead wood permits for trees that have died and fallen in the forest from natural causes and mill them for market. 

We also offer silviculture products, including teak, amarillon, eucalyptus, and melina.  These are not subject to the regulatory constraints that the native tropical hard woods are.
